Clear Arterial Waveforms

Fidelity’s large pressure lumen transmits clear arterial waveforms for optimal augmentation analysis. These pressure waveforms closely resemble the true pressure waveforms generated by a Millar catheter.¹

Fidelity has the largest pressure lumen of all true 8Fr. IAB catheters.¹

Trackability

The polymer shaft construction of Fidelity blends strength and flexibility to insert and easily navigate within the vasculature. The comparative chart to the right demonstrates the amount of force required to insert the catheter.

Fidelity’s strong catheter construction coupled with co-lumen shaft design provides quicker inflation/deflation times when deployed in tortuous vessels. ¹

Longer Insertable Length

Catheter Shaft Design

Fidelity’s co-lumen shaft design efficiently performs helium gas exchanges. Our co-lumen catheter design allows for a large helium gas passage area, minimizing the drag surface and optimizing counterpulsation therapy.¹

Fidelity’s large lumen accommodates 0.025" 3mm J PTFE guidewire. This guidewire’s design mimics the construction of larger guidewires used in standard percutaneous procedures.

Smooth transition between balloon and catheter shaft

To help reduce the risk of bleeding, Fidelity is carefully constructed to ensure there is no step down between the catheter shaft and balloon material.¹
